Our Approach to Returns

At Formiva Studio, every order is a personal commission. Because each product is 3D printed fresh specifically for you, we operate a replacement-first policy rather than a traditional return model. Our primary goal is simple: ensure you receive a piece you are genuinely proud to display in your home.

We maintain rigorous quality control — every piece is visually inspected against its design specification before packaging. However, transit damage can occur despite our best packaging efforts, and we take full responsibility when it does.

5-Day Replacement

Damaged on arrival? Report within 5 days for a free replacement.

12-Hour Cancellation

Cancel within 12 hours of placement for a complete, immediate refund.

Wrong Item Policy

Received the wrong product? We ship the correct one immediately.

5-Day Replacement Guarantee

If your item arrives damaged, structurally defective, or materially different from what you ordered, we will replace it free of charge. Valid for 5 days from the delivery date. Send a photo of the damage and your Order ID via Email — in most cases you will not need to return the damaged piece.

How to Initiate a Replacement

Email us at support@formivastudio.com with the following:

  • Your Order ID (found in your confirmation email).
  • Clear photographs showing the product issue, damage, or defect.
  • Your preferred resolution — free replacement.

Our team acknowledges within 2 hours during business hours (10am – 7pm IST, Monday to Saturday) and initiates resolution immediately.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placement for a full refund. After this window, production has begun and cancellation is not possible. To cancel, Email us with your Order ID within the window — no forms, no lengthy processes.

Resolution Breakdown

  • Transit Damage: Priority free replacement shipped immediately. We also file the courier claim on your behalf.
  • Wrong Item Dispatched: Priority replacement shipped within 24 hours, pickup of incorrect item arranged at no cost.
  • Cancellations Within 12 Hours: 100% refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • Warranty Claims: Defective pieces are repaired or replaced free of charge within the 6-month warranty period.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the personalized nature of our products, the following cannot be returned unless defective or damaged:

  • Lithophanes — printed with your personal photographs, unique to you and non-resellable.
  • Custom Commissions — pieces modelled and printed to your specific design brief.
  • Used or Mounted Items — products showing signs of installation cannot be returned after the 5-day window.

Even for non-returnable items, manufacturing defects are covered under our 6-month warranty and we will repair or replace accordingly.
