The Formiva Studio commission service exists for those moments when no product in our catalogue quite matches what you have in mind. Whether you are a homeowner wanting something completely unique, an interior designer sourcing statement pieces for a client, a corporate buyer needing branded desk gifts, or an engineer needing a physical prototype — our studio is equipped to deliver it.
We have fulfilled commissions ranging from a single 8cm lithophane to a 47-piece geometric wall installation for a restaurant. Scale is not a limitation — our industrial printers run continuously and our team has the expertise to break large designs into interlocking modular segments when necessary.

Describe your idea, reference images, or requirements via Email. Our designer responds within 2 hours to discuss feasibility, material options, and finish.
Design or Submit
Send your own 3D file (STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP) or let our modeller build the design for you. We provide a 3D render preview before committing to print.
Quote & Approve
We send a fully transparent, itemised quote covering material, print time, post-processing, and delivery. No hidden charges — ever.
Print & Deliver
Your piece is printed on our industrial-grade machines with the exact filament, infill, and layer profile agreed upon. Dispatched within 3–7 business days.

Commercial Interiors
Wall installations for cafés, hotel lobbies, co-working spaces, showrooms, and restaurants. We handle scale, repetition, and colour consistency across batches.
Corporate Gifting
Branded desk sculptures, custom trophies, logo plaques, and award pieces for companies. Minimum 10 units; maximum batch size is unlimited.
Prototyping & Engineering
Functional prototypes, architectural models, product housing mock-ups, and engineering concept models. We work with both PLA and PETG for varying stiffness requirements.
Personal Commissions
One-of-a-kind artistic pieces, custom lithophanes with personal photographs, bespoke wedding gifts, and personalised home decor.
Accepted File Formats
Send us your 3D file directly via email. We review it for printability, suggest any necessary modifications, and confirm compatibility before quoting.
No 3D file? No problem. Send us reference images, a sketch, or a written description and our in-house 3D modeller will create the design. Modelling fees are charged separately and vary by complexity — typically ₹500–₹2,500.

The choice of material affects finish, strength, flexibility, and UV resistance. We will guide you to the right choice based on your application and aesthetic goals.

Pricing & Turnaround
Custom commission pricing is based on four factors: print time (volume of material used), material choice, post-processing requirements (sanding, painting, assembly), and delivery. We provide fully itemised quotes with no hidden fees. For identical repeated units, per-unit cost reduces significantly with volume.
- Turnaround: Most commissions are dispatched within 5–10 business days of design approval. Complex multi-piece installations may require 2–3 weeks — we will always confirm lead time upfront.
- Rush Orders: Available on a case-by-case basis for an expedited production premium. Contact us to discuss.
- Payment: 50% advance upon quote approval, 50% before dispatch for orders above ₹5,000. Full payment upfront for orders below ₹5,000.
